Oh boy, five week old chicks get to stay outside all day long.. Woo Hoo...  They like to scratch and peck at anything that moves.. Bugs and worms aplenty..

May Flowers…

jack in the pulpit2

This Jack in the Pulpit comes back stronger every year.. This year it has three blooms.. Can you make them out?  It is a bit difficult as the blooms are just a shade lighter than the leafs..

Here’s a different shot of the same plant.. These blooms only last about 10 days.. Depending on rainfall..

Columbine1

The Columbines have happily spread themselves all over the garden.. And that is just fine with us..  I love collecting their seeds to share with gardening friends..

Baby Iris

100_3400

Have you ever seen an Iris this small bloom?  I was so surprised to see this little treasure..  Now I simply must find a place to plant this sweetie in the ground.. She spend the winter in this cramped pot, poor thing.. Can you imagine the blooms she will have when she can spread out to her full glory?   Happy Gardening, my friends..
